Internationally acclaimed artist Jana Winderen researches hidden depths with cutting-edge audio technology. With her probing hydrophones the audio topography of the oceans - sounds made by crustaceans, fish and mammals, the substrata of the sea ice and the depth of ice crevasses - are brought to the surface.

At the festival opening Winderen will present a version of the sound installation Dive (2014), originally commissioned for Park Avenue Tunnel, by New York Department of Transportation.
