Otomo Yoshihide & Paal Nilssen-Love
A seismic collision between two of the planet’s most volcanic musicians. Otomo Yoshihide is a Japanese guitarist, turntablist and composer. In his group Ground-Zero and solo, he has made a wide range of music from improvisation to noise and pop. As well as collaborations with John Zorn, Sachiko M, Boredoms and Derek Bailey, he has a successful career as a film score composer and has produced more than seventy movie soundtracks.
Norwegian drummer and percussionist Paal Nilssen-Love is one of the most active jazz musicians in the world. He has collaborated with a huge number of musicians including Arto Lindsay,Peter Brötzmann, Akira Sakata, Otomo Yoshihide, Joe McPhee, Evan Parker and Ken Vandermark, is a member of The Thing, and founder of Large Unit consisting of twelve Nordic musicians.
