The talks and presentations will cover a number of contemporary music matters, from the history of recording to the mechanics of sound systems and the aesthetics of Industrial culture, while the conversations will illuminate the thinking of key contemporary musicians and commentators. There will be a number of extra events taking place throughout the weekend, including film screenings and family activities, a pub quiz hosted by The Wire, and a closing night concert featuring musicians associated with the US Mississippi label, as well as an aftershow featuring DJsets by, amongst others, nyMusikk's Anne Hilde Neset.
