Thomas Lehn and Kjell Bjørgeengen met when the latter was invited to make a video for MIMEO (Music In Movement Electronic Orchestra). Bjørgeengen/Lehn had their first duo performance at the Molde Jazz Festival in 2012.

Over the last couple of years they have worked to develop an interface between sound and image of a unique character. Bjørgeengen can bring out all the signals from Lehn's Synthia A synthesizer and build this into his sound generated video expression. Similarly, Bjørgeengen's signals can intervene with Lehn. The result is a contradictory unity in which each of them must give up their own security and relate directly to what the other is doing.

Thomas Lehn is a German-born piano and synthesizer player. Since the early 1980s Lehn has been working as a performer, interpreter, composer and improviser of contemporary music. His individual style of musical expression is rooted in the experience of a broad spectrum of musical fields.

Kjell Bjørgeengen is a Norwegian artist working with sculpture, video and installations. With the use of video in installations, he has been a pioneer in Norway. He has also developed a significant international position.
